Plan Reviewed: eVoice Receptionist
Pros
- 1000 minutes included in the plan
- Free 30 day Trial
- No Activation Fee
- Cost of each additional minute is 4.9¢
Cons
- 3 extensions included
- $9.95 for additional extensions
Conclusion
The eVoice Receptionist plan is very similar to our market standard. It gives you a 30 day free trial to figure out how much you like the service, and the plan has is no activation fee. The service is fairly comprehensive as it includes voicemail to email, message alerts, and other standard pbx features. The service also comes with 1,000 included minutes. The only feature that the eVoice Receptionist plan is missing is the conference calling feature. This is not much of a problem, since there are plenty of free conference calling services available on the internet.
Outside of the lack of a conference calling feature, there is only one other downside to the eVoice Receptionist plan. It may not be a problem for many using the service but additional extensions do cost $9.95 per month. In the end, if you want a great plan that gives you a lot without costing too much then the eVoice Receptionist plan is a good choice.

Great idea - poor execution. Don't buy it!
Why screw up the image of a great service -- eFax -- with this mess? I have been a loyal eFax customer for years and was really looking forward
to using eVoice Receptionist. For the last two days I have been trying to overcome technical glitches with the help (I use that term loosely) of some of the
worst customer support representatives I have ever encountered. I was telling the tech support people what to do!! I spent hours on the phone
before I finally canceled it. Thank goodness I didn't subject my clients to this. Great idea - poor execution. Don't buy it!
