Plan Reviewed: 500 Minutes

Pros

  • Any type of number (local, vanity, 800, 866, 877, 888) included free in the plan

Cons

  • No free trial
  • $49.95 activation fee
  • No additional extensions

Conclusion
MessagingService.com's Hosted PBX Phone System is an expensive service for what they offer. The plan we reviewed includes 10 extensions and 500 minutes, but you have the option to choose between 5, 10, or 20 extensions and between 500, 1000, or 2500 minutes when you sign up. A major selling point of their service is that a toll-free or local number are included in the plan. However, this feature is the only advantage of MessagingService.com's service over its competitors. Their service doesn't offer a free trial and has a $49.95 activation fee. You also aren't able to add single extensions to your plan. If you want to add more extensions, you must upgrade your account. There are other service providers that offer a similar bundle of features for less money.
