Pros

  • 30 day free trial
  • No activation fee
  • Toll-free number included
  • $2.99 a month for additional extensions
  • Ability to record your own greetings

Cons

  • No conference call feature

Conclusion

RingCentral's Professional plan is an excellent option for those looking for a low cost plan that still provides great service. The Professional plan includes internet fax, message alerts, and call screening. Their plan also now includes the ability to record your own greetings. When it comes to low priced PBX services it can be hard to find all of these features included in a plan for free, yet RingCentral has them included even in their least expensive plan. RingCentral has recently made concerned efforts to improve their customer service, which until recently had been sub-par. Since they began concentrating on improving their customer service we have retested the service several times and have had nothing but positive experiences with their service and their customer support. The 30 day free trial is a perfect way to try out their service and figure out if you want to stick with them as your PBX service provider.

Plan Reviewed: Business Plus
http://www.ringcentral.com

Pros

  • 30 day free trial
  • 1000 minutes included
  • No activation fee
  • Free software included which helps manage incoming calls and messages
  • No double-billing guarantee

Cons

  • No conference call feature

Conclusion

RingCentral's Plus is a good plan for most businesses. The Plus plan provides unlimited extensions for $24.99 a month, and has every feature that a potential customer would want including the ability to record your own greetings. The online interface that RingCentral has for their PBX service is relatively easy to learn and is easy to use. RingCentral has been making strides in improving their customer service which had been an area of concern for them, and their customers. After retesting the service several times our research team has recently had nothing but positive experiences communicating with their support. The plan also allows for a decent amount of customization with unlimited extensions and additional numbers available for $4.99 per month for each additional number.

The RingCentral Plus plan has recently been upgraded to include 1000 minutes, and. despite not having a conference calling feature their online PBX service is hard to match for value and ease of use.

Plan Reviewed: Business Premium
http://www.ringcentral.com

Pros

  • 30 day free trial
  • No activation fee
  • Free software included which helps manage incoming calls and messages
  • No double-billing guarantee

Cons

  • RingCentral has recently outsourced their customer service, which is now very poor
  • No discount for annual payment

Conclusion

RingCentral's Business Premium is an excellent plan for larger businesses. They are one of the few PBX service providers that include internet fax in their plan at no extra charge. The Business Premium plan has every feature a potential customer would want including the ability to record your own greeting. The online interface that RingCentral has for their PBX service is relatively easy to learn and is easy to use. RingCentral has recently made concerned efforts to improve their customer service, which until recently had been sub-par. Since they began concentrating on improving their customer service we have retested the service several times and have had nothing but positive experiences with their service and their customer support.

RingCentral provides a great online PBX service which is hard to match. One drawback to their Business Premium plan is that they don't offer a discount for paying annually like they do with their other plans. Despite this drawback, RingCentral's Business Premium plan gets our highest recommendation.
