Phone.com Pros
- Annual pre-payment discounts available on basic, mid-level and corporate plans
- Low cost per minute
- International numbers available
- 30-day free trial
- Free to port existing number into the service
- 24/7 customer support
Phone.com Cons

Phone.com Conclusion
Phone.com's pricing plans are an excellent value, as they offer a substantial number of minutes and unlimited extensions for a low monthly fee. This service is recommended for heavy conference callers as Phone.com provides you with unlimited conference call minutes and allows you to have as many as 500 people on a call at once. Phone.com offers standard PBX features (i.e. auto attendant, conference calls and call handling rules), as well as a few unique ones (i.e. custom hold music, HD voice, unlimited conference call minutes, etc). However, they lack ACD Queues, which is a smart system for call-routing. You can send faxes online with this plan, but you must pay an additional $4.88 for an additional phone line to receive faxes. Phone.com offers a 30-day free trial and includes the same number of minutes as your selected monthly plan. Phone.com's phone, email and live chat support are high quality and available 24/7.

VirtualPBX Pros
- Low cost per minute
- International numbers available
- Smart routing system (ACD Queues) for incoming calls
- 30-day free trial
VirtualPBX Cons
- 800 toll-free numbers not available
VirtualPBX Conclusion
All of VirtualPBX's reviewed plans provide fantastic value in terms of price and include a standard number of minutes and unlimited extensions. VirtualPBX offers a 30-day free trial, which includes 50 minutes to test the product. This is a great service for people who don't require an international or 800 toll-free number. If you need an international number, Phone.com charges significantly lower international fees. VirtualPBX includes standard call management features (i.e. set answering rules, transfer, block and put calls on hold, Find Me / Follow Me) and PBX features (i.e. conference calls, unlimited extensions, voicemail to email) for a low monthly cost. VirtualPBX offers phone and email customer support five days a week.

Grasshopper Pros
- Low cost per minute
- 24/7 customer service
Grasshopper Cons
- Can't set answering rules
- $25 activation fee
- No free trial available
Grasshopper Conclusion
Grasshopper has some additonal fees that are not part of our Market Standard: $25 activation fee on all reviewed pricing plans and $5.63 "taxes and surcharges" fee. Also, their basic plan doesn't include any minutes. Minus these extra charges, the monthly pricing is standard. They do not offer a free trial, but they offer a 30-day money back guarantee. If you can get past the startup fees and no free trial, then Grasshopper is a good service for the average PBX user. If you are looking for more advanced PBX features, such as a full Internet fax feature, the ability to set answering rules, call blocking, call recording and call tagging, then you should select another service. Grasshopper's customer service is average quality and available 24/7. They offer phone, email and live chat support.

Phone People Pros

Phone People Cons
- Local numbers unavailable
- $35 setup fee for vanity numbers
- Additional cost for sending voicemail to email
- Conference calling feature unavailable
- Internet fax service unavailable

Phone People Conclusion
Phone People is recommended for people who want to make phone calls with their virtual PBX number but not receive calls. Phone People lacks call management features to properly handle incoming calls, such as setting rules, transferring a call, placing a call on hold, blocking a call, recording phone calls. Phone People's plans have standard monthly pricing. Phone People lacks standard PBX features, such as free voicemail to email (costs $3 per month per extension), conference calls and Internet fax service. Some other PBX providers offer these features for the same price or lower. Phone People offers phone, email and live chat support that is available 24/7.

uReach Pros
- Presently there are no pros for this service.
uReach Cons
- Local numbers not available
- $5.99 recurring monthly fee for 800 toll-free numbers
- $40 setup fee and $5.99 recurring monthly fee for vanity numbers
- $40 one-time fee and $1.99 recurring monthly fee to port existing number into the service
- Can't set answering rules
- No Follow Me function (to set call forwarding rules)
- Conference calling not available
- No free trial available
uReach Conclusion
uReach only offers one plan, and the price ($24.99 for no included minutes) is much more expensive than our Market Standard. Also, beware of recurring monthly costs for 800 numbers, vanity numbers and ported numbers. They also do not offer a free trial but have a 30-day money back guarantee, and you are still charged for the minutes used during the trial period. This plan is not recommended for someone who needs more than 10 extensions. Also, uReach lacks a lot of standard call management features (i.e. no call transfer, call hold, Find Me/Follow Me) and PBX features (i.e. no conference calling, ability to add extensions, send-only fax). There are other services that offer these features for a lower monthly fee. uReach offers average quality phone and email customer support, which is available five days a week.

Halloo Conclusion
Halloo offers several plans that meet our Market Standard for pricing, as well as free porting, 800 numbers, and the inclusion of ACD queues. Halloo does not offer a free trial, but they do offer a money-back guarantee. They do offer conference calling, but at an additional fee. They have what we consider to be a high quality web interface and above average customer service.

eVoice Pros
- Low cost per minute
- Six-month free trial
- Free to port existing number into the service
- 24/7 customer support
eVoice Cons
- Internet fax service not available
eVoice Conclusion
eVoice's basic plan is a good value, and their mid-level and corporate plans are priced within our Market Standard. If you need an 800 toll-free or vanity number, you will have to sign up for the mid-level or corporate plan. They do not offer international numbers. eVoice offers a free trial for six months and includes 1000 minutes or 60 voicemail transcriptions. This service is not recommended for people who need a lot of extensions or an Internet fax service. eVoice offers a relatively low number of extensions with each pricing plan and doesn't offer Internet fax, which falls short of our Market Standard. eVoice has average quality phone, email and live chat support that are available 24/7.

FreedomVoice Conclusion
FreedomVoice's reviewed pricing plans meet our Market Standard in terms of price, but we've reviewed other vendors that offer more extensions and more minutes for the same price. They offer a free trial for 15 days that lets you test their service. FreedomVoice meets our Market Standard by including five extensions, conference calling features and Internet fax service. They also offer a smart routing system (ACD Queues), which is a special feature. FreedomVoice offers high quality phone and email support that is available six days a week.

iTeleCenter Pros
- Smart routing system (ACD Queues) for incoming calls
- Low cost per minute
- Internet Fax Included
iTeleCenter Cons
- Presently there are no cons for this service
iTeleCenter Conclusion
iTeleCenter's basic, mid-level, and corporate plans are a great value for their price per minute. However, they require a $15 startup fee. iTeleCenter offers a free trial for 14 days that includes 100 minutes. We recommended this service for heavy conference calls users as they give you unlimited conference call minutes and a maximum of 25 people on a call. But, you cannot have more than one conference call going at once. If you need to have simultaneous conference calls, we recommend using Phone.com. iTeleCenter's conference call features coupled with a full send-and-receive Internet fax service and smart routing system (ACD Queues) make this plan a good PBX option. iTeleCenter has below average phone, live chat and email support.

- Can't receive voicemails via email
- Conference calling feature not available

VoiceShot Conclusion
VoiceShot's additional fees ($10 recurring expense on your first phone number and a $50 activation fee), make their service is more expensive than our Market Standard. They do, however, meet our Market Standard in terms of price per minute. VoiceShot also does not offer a free trial to test their service. They also lack some essential PBX features, such as conference calling and Internet fax, which we consider to be standard features. While they offer unlimited extensions and smart system routing (ACD Queues) and have high quality phone and email customer support, we recommend looking at less expensive providers.

Innoport Cons
- Expensive mid-level plan
- $35 setup fee for vanity numbers
- Can't port existing numbers into the service

Innoport Conclusion
Innoport's basic plan meets our Market Standard, while their mid-level plan is relatively expensive. Innoport gives you a $20 or $35 credit upon creation depending on which plan you signed up for instead of a free trial. Innoport does not port numbers into their system, so you won't be able to use your existing phone number. Innoport offers useful features, such as Internet fax service and smart call routing (ACD Queues), but they lack conference calling features, which inhibits the value of their service compared to others. Innoport has high quality phone and email customer support which is available five days a week.
